I grew up in a country that couldn’t be more different to Iceland - India. But, as life would have it, I fell in love with an Icelander, got married and have been living in Iceland for over 15 years now. We established our tour operator after celebrating our wedding in 2010. Guests from all over the world wanted to come and join us on this joyous occasion and through arranging travels for all of them, we both found our passion: showing the real Iceland to travelers worldwide. Iceland is a magical place and we have traveled up and down the country repeatedly, making sure our itineraries are always up-to-date and our maps are suited for all travelers. The best way to discover Iceland is renting a car and driving yourself, stopping by attractions along the way: volcanoes, geysers, hiking trails and much more await those that come. In summer, we get up to 22 hours of daylight and in winter, Iceland turns into a winter wonderland with plenty of snow. ‘While in Iceland, do as the Icelanders do’ is our motto, so we make sure your itinerary is fully packed with authentic experiences, really getting to know the quirky Icelandic culture.Our trips are best suited to independent travelers looking to discover Iceland in their own car.

This is the first time we used Insight Guides and are so happy that we did! The trip went off without a hitch. We used the service for all of the planning and arrangements for a two week trip to Iceland. It was a self-drive trip. Through its local representative, handled all arrangements, including rental car, hotel and excursions. These arrangements were based upon email exchanges so they could understand what our expectations and desires were. We had no prior experience with travel in Iceland and, so, were highly dependent upon their guidance. We could not have asked for a better experience. Each of the various accommodations were excellent, the detailed itinerary provided was easy to understand and guided us to sites which fit with our expressed desires, with a few new experiences thrown in. Each day was well laid out providing a busy, but not overloaded day. We will gladly use the service for any future trips into unknown areas.

I must tell you that my tour with you is probably THE best tour I've ever taken (and I've taken a lot). My guide Rico set a bar so high that I don’t know if any other tour guide will ever measure up :) I can't say enough great things about him, or about the tour! I was floored by how many gorgeous sights we squeezed into two days. I hope to return someday and I'll absolutely book tours with you again.

We had an amazing stay in Iceland and definitely want to come back soon and explore some more. The itinerary was daunting but we got it all done with the exception of hiking Glymur trail. The Westfjords and the Peninsula were definite highlights but the whole trip was great start to finish.
